After listening to our customers and looking at what else was available in battery hold downs Extreme Batteries decided to manufacture their own in mild steel and aluminium. At present we have hold downs to suit the Odyssey PC680, Odyssey PC925, Fullriver HC20 and Fullriver HC28. They also fit the two equilalent sizes in Rocket XS Power batteries. The kits come with mounting hardware and rubber matting. All the mounting bolts are outside the battery resting area so there is no chance of bolts rubbing through the battery case.
Aluminium Hold Down
This aluminium hold down is designed for race car applications where there is limited space and weight saving is a priority. It suits the Odyssey PC680, Fullriver HC20 and the Rocket XS Power batteries. This hold down can be mounted on any flat surface - floor or bulk-head - and comes with rubber padding to fit between the battery and mounting surface. The kit comes with 6 high tensile bolts, washers and nylock nuts for fitting. All 3 batteries can be mounted any way except inverted.

Mild Steel
This mild steel hold down is used in more flexible applications. It suits the Odyssey PC680, Fullriver HC20 (the metal jacket on the battery needs to be removed on the Fullriver) and the Rocket XS Power batteries. Once again any of these batteries can be mounted anyway except inverted and the hold downs are made so that they can lay flat or upright. The kit comes with 4 high tensile bolts, washers and nylock nuts for fitting and has rubber matting under the base of the battery and the top strap is lined with rubber.

Any of these batteries can be mounted anyway except inverted and the hold downs are made so that they can lay flat or upright. The kit comes with 4 high tensile bolts, washers and nylock nuts for fitting and has rubber matting under the base of the battery and the top strap on this hold down is made from heavier gauge steel to prevent distortion. and is rubber lined.
